LAUNCH is a program that has been developed by Lake Region State College (LRSC) and the University of North Dakota (UND) as an alternative opportunity for students that are not yet eligible for admission into UND, but have the ability & desire to attend UND.
This program is housed on the UND campus in Grad Forks, ND. While students are actually enrolled through Lake Region, they live on the UND campus and participate in the many campus activities and student services available to UND students. If students complete 30 credits and mainitain at 2.5 GPA while in the LAUNCH program, they are then able to apply for admission to UND as a transfer student.
The LAUNCH program provides students personal attention by providing on-campus advisors to meet with each student on an individual basis and holds monthly group meetings and also provides small class sizes.This helps to propel students through their first semester with intensive advising and academic support.
