Real DEAL Scholarships applications now being acceptedEvery month, October – March, eight high school seniors from seven designated regions across the state will be selected to be the Real DEAL and receive a $500 scholarship to attend a North Dakota college. In April, these 48 recipients will have the opportunity to compete for a $3,000 scholarship.
Several items make this scholarship unique. The criteria include a 2.5 or greater GPA and involvement in school and/or community activities. The application is a few simple questions and the eight monthly recipients are selected randomly. The first 1,000 applicants will receive an “I’m the Real DEAL t-shirt.”
Students can apply at dealstudentloans.nd.gov by clicking on the Real DEAL scholarship icon on the right.
