An exciting nursing event will take place on the Jamestown college Campus on Wednesday, November 14th. Nursing as a Profession Day is designed for any current high school junior or senior who is considering a career in nursing. Students who attend will get an overview about the nursing profession and will attend 3 breakout sessions (two of which include the use of SimFamily--computerized and interactive mannequins, adding a life-like learning experience):
- Nursing procedures
- Save a life (cardiac life support)
- Deliver a baby!
Lunch will be provided, and a tour of the Jamestown Regional Medical Center will follow.
