International Music Camp Visual Arts Programs

Construction Career in Your Future? Check This Out!!!

The Herdina Academy for Construction Trades will be held June 3-14 at Minnesota State Community & Technical College in Moorhead. The Academy is open to ND and MN high school students ages 15 and older. Enrollment is limited so if interested, students should apply soon!

Students who attend will have the opportunity to work side-by-side with industry and education professionals, learning about occupations, tools, safety requirements and skills required for acquiring a satisfying and well-paying career in the construction industry. Classroom and hands on learning are experienced during the academy.

Students who successfully complete the Academy will earn 3 college credits from M State which can be used for the carpentry, plumbing, HVAC or mecanical CAD programs at M State.

Also, a $500 scholarship from Home Builders Care of Fargo-Moorhead Foundation will be awarded to an outstanding student who completes the Academy and plans to enroll in a construction related field at M State-Moorhead or NDSCS in Wahpeton. An additional $1,000 scholarship will be offered by the M State Foundation and an additional $500 will be offered by NDSCS.

Student Loan Forgiveness Opportunity for STEM Grads
